Description: Oboshi kabuto formed of 24 plates with round, iron suji bowl and russet iron surface in the style of ca. 1350, large five-stage tehen kanamono. Three-lame o manju shikoro of black, leather-covered iron plates in blue sugake lacing with large fukigaeshi. Kuwagata dai in the form of an oni face. Iron Nara mempo of Okino type with teeth and impressive beard in sabinuri. Lacquer with four-lame, iron, black lacquered yodare kake in kizuke kozane and blue kebiki lacing. Heavy, bullet proof ni mai yokohago do of iron with russet iron surface featuring finely cut and embossed iron applications of a rain dragon between clouds and lightning, the upper segment of the breastplate with two iron maru ni katabami mon. Cords improperly replaced. Seven five-lame kusazuri of curved leather plates in blue sugake lacing. Kusari kote en suite to the do with the same design of clouds and lightning. Russet iron surface, hira kamuri ita with blossom shaped hinges and shakudo trims. Original brocade and leather trims. Black lacquered iyohaidate with kusari on tattered brocade. Also black lacquered shinosuneate with kusari. Brocade partially somewhat tattered and with signs of age, smaller repairs and replacements in places, some fastening loops and toggles missing.
