Description: AFTER E. W. GODWIN
PAIR OF AESTHETIC MOVEMENT EBONISED SIDE CHAIRS, CIRCA 1880
each with gilt incised decoration, with upholstered panel back and seat on turned legs linked by stretchers (2)
41cm wide, 72cm high, 36cm deep

Condition Report: - both with metal trade label to underside of front seat rail 'OETZMANN & CO / MANUFACTURERS / HAMPSTEAD ROAD LONDON'
- of chair L finial has been chewed/chipped away exposing raw wood
- seat pads sound
- black porcelain castors
- minor wear and rubbing to the ebonised and gilt surface throughout consistent with age and use
