Caesar Crossing the Rubicon, bronze depicting Caesar on horseback with his cloak billowing over his head as his horse strides forward on the naturalistic, patinated ground, incised "J.L. GEROME," stamped "FRANCE," and "596 G," ht. 15 in.

Condition Report: With scattered minor spots of verdigris to horse and deeper folds of drapery. Very minor surface abrasions to base. Reins with break to one side and repair to other.
