Description: AFTER PABLO PICASSO
(spanish, 1881-1973)
DORA MAAR (FEMME ASSISE)
1955, pencil signed and numbered 12/100, with wide margins, Musée des Arts Decoratifs, Paris, publisher. Color lithograph on BFK Rives (lacking the usual ''MOURLOT LITH'' lettering at lower left.

Condition Report: Please note that this print lacks the 'MOURLOT LITH' lettering normally printed in the lower left margin in tiny text just below the bottom left of the image area.
Pale mat, light and time staining. The colors slightly darkenend. The numbering gently rubbed. A very faint line or erasure under the underscore of the signature which echoes the underline and is approximately the same length. A few soft crescent shaped creases along the top and right margin edge. A 5 inch soft horizontal crease at the center of the left margin extending to the image area. The bottom vertical edge with a few nicks and losses. The lower left margin corner slightly creased and backed with old tape. A few moisture stains verso (not showing through). Staining consistent with corregated cardboard pattern of the backing. Old paper tape remnants in places along the reverse of the left margin edge and attendant skinning and old glue remains.
