Portrait of a Woman. Unsigned, identified on labels on the reverse. Unsigned, identified on labels on the reverse. Oil on panel, 26 x 20 3/8 in., strip frame. Condition: Gentle curves and splats to panel, losses, retouched, varnish inconsistencies and surface grime.
N.B. The work is identified as La Fornarina after Raphael on its labels. When this could was made in the late 19th century, the composition presented here was thought to be Raphael's. Oil on panel, 26 x 20 3/8 in. (65.8 x 51.6 cm), strip frame.
