Description: Chinese agate leaf form brush washer from the 17th century. The stone is carved forming an openwork design of vines, flowers, and leaves about the bowl. It has an ornately carved wooden stand. Dimensions are 3 1/2 inches wide by 5 5/8 inches long by 2 1/4 inches high. All measurements are approximate. Condition: It has a crack on the inside approximately 2 3/4 inches long, otherwise it is in good condition. Provenance: It was acquired in the UK in the 1960s.
