Condition / Notes: This scarce antique volume is bound in blue cloth with pictorial design printed in black, white and orange on the cover, and gilt lettering with black, white, and orange decoration on the spine. The exterior is lightly rubbed and lightly soiled, with light bumping at the spine extremities. The text block is cracked between pages 96-97 and 112-113. The decorative endpapers display some toning and offsetting, and a gilt-decorated bookplate is present on the front paste-down. The interior displays occasional foxing and smudging, mostly confined to the edges. This work is illustrated textual and full-page illustrations, as well as one fold-out map of the Canadian Pacific Railway, which displays foxing and an edge tear. A three-page publisher's catalogue is present at the rear.
