Book Details: From the preface: "Though this book is mainly based on observations and collections made by the author in his early student days, it was thought that some general and standard account of the Labrador coast, its geography, its people, its fisheries, its geology, as well as its animals and plants, might be useful."
Condition / Notes: This antique volume is bound in blue cloth with gilt lettering to the front cover and spine. The exterior displays moderate wear, with rubbing to the covers and spine extremities and a spot of discoloration on the spine cover. The binding is cracked at the front hinge, and the text block displays toning to the outer edge. A library bookplate is present to the front paste-down, and the remnants of an attachment are present to the rear paste-down. The title page displays slight separation at the top and bottom of the inside edge. A few library blind stamps appear on the preliminary and introductory pages. The interior is otherwise clean and free of markings, illustrated with textual and full-page illustrations, plates, and maps, one of which is a fold-out map of Labrador. This volume contains an index and appendix.
