Description: Of squat bulbous form, chased and repousse on one side with a pair of carp in swirling currents and on the other with a similar single carp, all beneath flowering prunus branches, the cover with matching flowers and floral knop, engraved with a set of characters underneath the handle, factory marks, the kettle and stand with code numeral "9013," three legs of the stand also marked "14306," the kettle and font with trident for 1897. 24 oz. Height 9 3/8 inches.
