Tirion/Yntema & Tieboel, 1760-67. 3 vols. (10), xxiv, 743; 552; (2), 566 pp. W. 3 identical engr. ti-vign. (coat of arms of Amsterdam), engr. allegorical ti. by R. Vinkeles after C. Ploos v. Amstel, 1 engr. portr. of the author by J. Houbraken and 79 (partly fold.) plates w. engr. maps/plans/views. Sm-fol. Fine cont. mottled cf., spines gilt w. floral dec., w. orange labels and raised in compartments, mottled edges. (Minor rubbing to extremities, some unobtrusive browning to contents). Very fine set with 9 extra plates in volume II, 8 of which are fine town views (250 x 295 mm) by P.H. Schut, published by N. Visscher and 1 small view of the interior of the 'groote saal' in the town hall. Without the continuation, published in 1788. - Nijhoff/v. Hattum, 311; Haitsma Mulier/v.d. Lem, 507i.
