Description: Blade hirazukuri, light torii zori, weak ko gunome hamon, traces of mokume hada, omaru boshi with deep kaeri. Blade with signs of fatigue. Old kesho polish with scratches and small spots of rust. Nakago ubu, one mekugi ana, kiri yasurime, inscribed "Mihara Ju Masaiye" (MAS 244, 15 P.). Gilt copper habaki. Ishime saya with maeda and naito mon in smooth lacquer. Plain lacquered horn fittings. Kozuka with cloud and mon design. Black lacquered tsuka fitted with same and application of part gilt shishi and peony menuki. Mounting from the mid Edo period. Length k/m 29 cm, total length 50.5 cm.
