An American Sheet Iron "Quaker" Weathervane
19th Century
Depicting the profile of a man wearing a hat, tail coat and breeches, standing on a directional with curled tip and fan back, all mounted on a rod ending in a V-shaped support, raised on a modern iron stand.
Height of weathervane 3ft 6in (1.07m); height with stand 4ft (1.22m)
Condition:
In overall good condition. Arm and section of fan wind tail missing. On later stand.
