Description: An early 20th century Arts & Crafts planished white metal, enamel and cabochon set two handled Freedom casket by The St. Alban''s School of Art, of rectangular form and dated 1905, set with garnet and green agate cabochons and enamelled panels, one with dedication to the recipient Charles Woolham Esq, (scroll enclosed), on stylised leaf feet, maker''s mark only, on stepped wooden plinth, 13in.
There is a repair to the front left foot (visibler lead solder). There is also a crack to the repair. There is no visible damage to any of the cabochon stones and the enamel panel are is generally good order conducive with age, with only some very mior surface nicks and scratches. Three corners of the lid are raised very slightly ( a littler mishapen) otherwise the overall condition of the piece is good. Fabric interior a little grubby and stained. Maker's stamp to the base claer but a little rubbed. Wooden stand in good order with only some light scuff marks.
