Description: An excellent Aztec flat stamp from Churubusco, Mexico, ca. 1400 - 1500 AD. It is 2-3/8 in long and consists of a pair of complex spiral designs surrounding a Chicahuastli (wooden rattle) emblem, symbolizing the cane of the Fire God. Ex Foxworth estate. Cf. Enciso 'Design Motifs of Ancient Mexico', page 17.
