Description: Arabic manuscript on polished paper, 66 leaves, 33 lines to the page, written in small and neat naskh script ink black ink within cloud bands against a gold ground throughout, every 4 pages representing one juz' of the Qur'an with textual divisions marked in the margin, verses separated by small gold florets, catchwords, surah headings in gold thuluth in blue within illuminated panels, 3 double page illuminated frontispieces including surah index and prayers, finely decorated with a dense interlace of flowers and split palmettes in colours and gold, lacquer binding of corresponding vegetal design
In generally good overall condition, binding slightly worn, spine repaired, pages generally clean and illumination bright, minor stains, as viewed.
