An important pair of cased flintlock pistols by Le Page, dating: circa 1800
Micro-rifled, octagonal, 12 mm cal. barrels, with golden signature "Le Page a Paris Arq.er de l'Empereur" and decorations at the ends, bell-mouthed nozzles, sight and foresight; engraved tangs, locks signed "LE PAGE A PARIS", finely engraved and provided with anti-friction and sealing systems (one lock with restorations); wooden stocks, micro-checkered with lozenges at the butt, number "935 - 1807" at the muzzle, iron mounts engraved in the style of the empire, trigger guard with finger support; set trigger. In their wooden case with green Moroccan leather lining and golden decorations, complete with tools. Le Page was Napoleon's official gunsmith.
