Description: Student of Mitsusada, Osaka, Late 19th century. Holding a tzuzumi drum in his left hand and a folded fan in his right and his heavily stippled cap is held on to the back of his head by a strap that passes under his nose. His robe is etched with designs of birds on the sleeves and flowers on the back. All of the designs are reinforced with black ink. Signed on the back without reserve, Mitsusada. 1 3/4in (4.4cm).
