Description: Attributed to the Garaku School, Osaka, Late 18th century. Tail curled around in front of his body. The braided halter is placed around the face and the rope attached to it is draped across the body. Good color, large himotoshi, and a pair of age cracks that run horizontally across the body. 2 1/8in (5.4cm). Provenance: Ex Bernheimer's Antique Art (Paul), Boston.
