Description: Blade with levelled middle ridge, on both sides applied brass cartouche with Cyrillic inscription "Vivat Anna the Great" (for Tsarina Anna Ioanovna or Ruler Anna Leopoldovna) and "Für Gott und Vaterland (For God and Country) 1741". Brass bow. Grip with brass wire wrap. Length 89 cm. Very rare. Brown leather scabbard also with brass fittings. Cf.: A. Kulinsky, "Russische Blankwaffen", Atlant 2005. p. 34, 35.
