An pair officer's of flintlock pistols, dating: first quarter of the 19th Century
Smooth, octagonal, 15 mm cal. barrels, slightly bell-mouthed at the nozzle, keeping good part of the original browning, provided with four stamps each, three depicting woven branches with letters "L" and "C", one depicting the crowned letter "M"; engraved tangs with rear-sight notch; flat plate locks with oblique borders, outlined and finely engraved with racemes; wooden full stocks (one with two small restorations at the front, both damaged at the moth) with checkered butts; steel mounts, trigger guard decorated with the engraved effigy of a vase at the front, butt-plates with frames and a flower at the centre, more engravings at the barrel brackets and counter-plates. Bone-tipped horn ramrod with iron cartridge extractor. Re-converted from percussion.
