Description: André DUNOYER DE SEGONZAC (1884-1974) peintre. 11 L.A.S. et 1 PHOTOGRAPHIE avec DEDICACE a.s., 1948-1964, à son ami Raymond NACENTA, directeur de la Galerie Charpentier ; 15 cartes postales, 1 page in-8 avec adresse, et photo noir et blanc 18 x 23,5 cm. BELLE CORRESPONDANCE AMICALE ET ARTISTIQUE. 17 novembre 1948 : il a reçu les 3 œuvres de Simon BUSSY choisies à son exposition, à payer en prélevant " sur la vente de mes œuvres […]. Je ne voudrais pas trop tarder à régler ce charmant artiste "… 2 décembre 1952. Il recommande chaleureusement Michel CIRY pour l'exposition d'Art religieux que prépare Nacenta ; il apprécie le talent de ce " jeune peintre et graveur (dont je possède des eaux fortes) et qui peint des petites toiles religieuses d'un sentiment mystique émouvant "… 15 juin 1953.On lui demande des photographies pour l'Amérique : " J'ai d'excellentes photos instantanées - prises d'après moi en train de peindre - elles sont bien plus vivantes que celles que l'on fait bien posées dans un atelier "… 14 août 1964. Il a vu L'EXPOSITION SURREALISTE à la Galerie : " C'est de beaucoup le plus bel ensemble réalisé de cette école - qui remonte très loin : depuis Jérôme BOSCH jusqu'à Max ERNST ". Il la trouve très bien composée et va retourner la voir, " moi qui suis très éloigné de cette esthétique. J'ai été frappé par sa signification et sa classe - elle est admirablement mis en valeur - c'est la 1ère fois que je la vois aussi bien " ; et il signe : " Segonzac (Octogénaire) "… Vœux, etc. La photographie le représente en pleine nature, assis devant son chevalet, pinceaux à la main : vœux et dédicace, décembre 1955.
