Arguably, "Chistina's World" may be far and away Andrew Wyeth's most famous and most accomplished painting.

The above listed traveling exhibit was also shown in 2000 at Salem Academy and College (Winston-Salem, NC), Fayetteville Museum of Art (Fayetteville, NC), Huntington Museum of Art (Huntington, WV), and The Louise Cameron / St. John's Museum (Wilmington, NC). Bob Timberlake, an internationally acclaimed realist painter, furniture maker, author, and philanthropist lives in Lexington, North Carolina. Primarily known for his watercolor paintings, his depiction of life in his Native North Carolina has endeared his work to an international audience.
