Description: Having a shaped brass handle with crown knop on the end and an elaborate scrolling guard, the handle monogrammed "L.D.L." in cursive, the blade of pyramidal form, the whole sheathed in a brass scabbard with small closed hanging hook on one side; 19th century lore has it that these kinds of knives were carried by prostitutes and gamblers, since they were easily concealed. Knife: 9" L; blade from guard: 4.25" L; in scabbard: 9.5" L. Some discoloration to blade.
