Description: The squat twin-handled piece in the form of a diminutive tureen, with a molded stem-and-leaves finial above a lid and lobed body with repousse edges depicting flowers and seashell-spirals, the whole on a Rococo-style four-sided foot; Italian "crowned head" hallmark, used 1872-1933 to denote .800 silver, on the underside. 4.5" H X 6" W over handles X 4.5" body diameter. Total weight approximately 6 troy ounces. Occasional minor dents, finial appears to be lacking a central element.
