Signed and titled as well as with dimensions 'Kerschbaumer, Strassenecke IV. 73 : 60' in black on a label verso on central stretcher bar .With a confirmation by Konstanze Wetzel-Kerschbaumer, Munich, dated 19 July 2016Anton Kerschbaumer was stationed in Flanders, primarily in Ostend, as a paramedic during World War I. He painted four versions of the depicted street scene, the first two of which are missing.
