Description: DESCRIPTION: An Anton Lang art pottery pitcher. Pinched form with angled handle. Turquoise glazed exterior with mustard yellow interior. Marked under base "Anton Lang" and what appears to be "Made in Germany". Anton Lang (1875-1938) was an actor, noted for his role of Jesus in the Passion of Christ, and a noted studio potter in Ohio who made several trips to Rookwood. MEASUREMENTS: 5". CONDITION: No defects noted.
