(New endpapers, half-ti. and ti. reinforced, tear in half-ti., corners of leaf 3 & 4 rep., 1 map cut out and laid down, 2 maps and last leaf re-margined/cut out and laid down, outer margins of maps in places browned and brittle (espec. in second vol.), browned/foxed throughout and in places heavily, but the maps are not that browned and the worldmap is in rather good condition). Fourth edition of Ptolemy with Mercator's maps and the first by Bertius. The first part of this work contains the twenty-eight maps from Mercator's editions of Ptolemy, first issued in 1578.
