Description: Original authentic Muzzafar al-Din Shah Qajar hand signed farman with gold tahsib artwork, and Royal seal. Prior to the reign of the Pahlavi Dynasty of Iran were the Qajar (Ghajar) Kings. Muzaffar al-Din Shah, the son of Nasir al-Din Shah ruled from 1896-1907, after the assassination of his father. His reign was short, thus hand signed documents, like this, containing his Royal seal and signature are very rare. This amazing museum quality piece in extremely pristine, near perfect condition has been a treasured family heirloom in the collection of descendants of a member of the Royal Court. The \"Farman\" or \'Decree\" was written by the court calligrapher, signed by the King himself, and then layered with beautiful miniature style tahsib (real authentic gold) artwork. This beautiful piece should be mounted, framed, and hung on the wall as a timeless tribute to Iran\'s history and artists. Farman (only document, not mounting) Size: 8.5\" x 13\"

Condition Report: excellent
