Description: riginal authentic Reza Shah Pahlavi HAND SIGNED farman with Royal seal. After the reign of the Qajar Dynasty, Reza Shah the Great, came to power and reigned until 1941. He was exiled in 1941, when his son came to power. Reza Shah, said to be the father of modern Iran is still one of the most loved Kings of Iran. Reza Shah signed very few documents, and those that he did have rarely survived. Documents like this decree (farman) from his era were mostly burned or destroyed during the revolution, thus they are extremely rare and belong in either a MUSEUM or an appreciative collector. This amazing museum quality piece in good condition has been a treasured family heirloom. This "Farman" or "Decree" was written by the court calligrapher, embossed with the Royal Seal and then hand signed by Reza Shah, the King himself. This beautiful piece should be mounted, framed, and hung on the wall as a timeless tribute to Iran's history.Size: 12" x 16"

Condition Report: Excellent
