Description: These particular Chinese white-celadon jade carving refer to as 'the ascent of the dragon lines' and 'changing like a tiger', skillfully deep carved resembling a sage holding a ruyi scepter and his three attendants grasping an entwined ropes awaken the dragon and tiger on each ends. Meaningfully presented upon a carved hardwood stand. The nephrite jade shows clean even tone, with beautiful translucent, and sporadic golden russet inclusions. These sculpture is a symbolic the two great power pathways in the I Ching, the yin way and the yang way, the tiger way and the dragon way.
