Southeast Asia, Thailand, Ban Chiang, ca. 300 BCE. A pottery vessel with a pinched spout and a large, flared foot beneath a bowl. rounded globular body and raised flat rim atop its tall cylindrical pedestal on a flared foot. Perhaps this functioned as an oil lamp. Size: 4.6" W x 3" H (11.7 cm x 7.6 cm)
