Description: Baroque Writing Cabinet à Trois Corps.
Southern Germany or Austria. Circa 1740.

Walnut, burr walnut, partially ebonised, yew and maple inlays, felt lining. Curved breakfront lower section on flattened bun-feet. Mid section with slanted drop-flap writing surface with four small drawers. Tabernacle-shaped upper section with twelve drawers. Frieze drawer. Decorated with band inlays. 181x112x84cm. Condition C. Rear panel has been partially replaced.

Süddeutsch oder Österreich. Um 1740.

Nussbaum, Nussbaummaser, tlw. ebonisiert, Eibe und Ahorn eingelegt, Filzbeschlag. Auf gedrückten Kugelfüßen dreischübig gebrochen geschweifter Unterbau. Darüber schräg gestelltes klappbares Schreibfach mit vier kleinen Schüben. Tabernakelaufsatz mit zwölf Schüben. Kopfschub. Bandeinlagen. 181x112x84cm. Zustand C. Rückwand tlw. ergänzt.
