Book Details: Thomas De Laune and Benjamin Keach both contributed to this four part work on the metaphorical symbol of the Bible.
Condition / Notes: This is the second part of Keach and De Laune's works, entitled "Philologia Sacra, the Second Part. Wherein the Schemes, or Figures in Scripture, are Reduced Under their Proper Heads, with a Brief Explication of Each. Together with a Treatise of Types, Parables, &c. with an Improvement of them Parallel-Wise."

This antique volume has been re-backed. The volume is bound in full leather, with five raised bands. The volume displays significant external wear, with rubbing and scuffing to the covers. The hinges are cracked. An armorial bookplate reading "Bibliotheque Schorsch" and two previous owners' signatures are present to the toned endpapers. The title page of this volume is printed in red and black, with a small signature present in the upper corner. The interior of this volume displays occasional spotting and offsetting, but is otherwise clean and bright, with text sometimes appearing in double columns. An alphabetical table is present at the rear.
