Very finely executed watercolor drawing serving as the preperatory model for a lithograph of the same title published in "Architektonisches Skizzenbuch. Eine Sammlung von Landhäusern, Villen, ländlichen Gebäuden, 1871" (Architectural sketch book. A collection of country houses, villas, etc.) 11x15 inches sheet size; some minor surface soiling. [Berlin, 1871]

Notes: An exceptional rendering of a handsome villa in the Lichterfelde district of Berlin. The home was designed and built by Martin Gropius, an accomplished nineteenth century German architect.
