Details: This lot consists of the antique art print shown in the corresponding images.

This print, "The Message of the Roses," was drawn by Bessie Pease Gutmann and is number 641.

Gutmann (April 8, 1876 – September 1929, 1960) was an American artist and illustrator most noted for her paintings of putti, infants and young children. During the early 1900s Gutmann was considered one of the better-known magazine and book illustrators in the United States.

Condition / Notes: This piece, measuring approximately 14" x 20", displays some age/wear indications, including horizontal creases on the left side, some chipping, age toning, and tide markings at the extremities.
