Hodson, 10pp., 8vo on British Museum headed paper, 1912, 1916 and n.d., asking on behalf of Campbell Dodgson if he still has Ricketts woodcuts which he might with to dispose of; mentioning John Masefield on several occasions, "What a great man Masefield has become!"; thanking Hodson for a Christmas poem and giving his thoughts on the war "In spite of all the horrors of this war, I have to confess I think less ill of war than I did. What was the peace we had before? Beneath the surface , wasn't it very horrible too? The grinding of all joy out of the lives of such masses of people. Now at any rate, all alike have to bear & are cheerfully bearing.", folded, two with envelopes.
