Grüne Original-Leinenbände mit reicher Rückenvergoldung und goldgeprägten Deckeltiteln sowie blindgeprägten Eckfleurons und Kopfgoldschnitt (Ecken und Kapitale bestoßen, Kanten und Gelenke teilweise etwas stärker berieben, partiell mit kleineren Einrissen bzw. Fehlstellen im Bezug).
Nissen BBI 2227. - Das bekannte Pflanzenwerk in der dritten komplett überarbeiteten Ausgabe, ohne den erst 1886 von N. E. Brown herausgegebenen Band 12 sowie den 1902 erschienenen Supplementband. - Mit den schönen kolorierten Tafeln von John Edward Sowerby u.a. - 2 Textblatt sowie 2 Tafeln lose, Tafel CCCXII fehlt, etwas gebräunt und teilweise leicht stockfleckig.
