All original Automaton with three German dolls. Pair of 9 1/2" dolls marked 11/0 and 7" child doll. Scene portrays female playing a mandolin and male playing a violin. Female child dances back and forth. All have bisque heads with stationary glass eyes, closed mouths, curly blonde mohair wigs. All have wooden arms and legs with painted stockings. Clothing appears all original, is very elaborate: made from silks, lace and metal trims.They stand on a wooden, papered base. Wind up handle on side is in working order and larger figures turn their heads and play their instruments. Child moves back and forth. Condition: no flaws observed on dolls other than age discoloration, minor deterioration. Handle hangs up and music works sporadically. If handle is just rocked back and forth, all motion takes place, but no music. Base has age deterioration and is missing (1) leg.U.S. Shipping: $60 plus insurance.
