Bracket Clock, c. 1780 Wall clock with verge escapement, brass plate movement, stamped on the back plate: "I H Mons a Vevay", half-hour-strike on bell, 81/4-inch convex enamel dial with Arabic and Roman numerals, pierced brass hands, pendulum renewed, wooden case and bracket relacquered, working without strike, overall height: 38 1/2 in. - An attractive early piece!
