Manufactured in 1854. The top barrel flat is marked "ADDRESS COL:COLT.LONDON" (flanked by arrows), "COLTS / PATENT" on the left side of the frame and an "arrow/WD" British War Department proof on the left side of the barrel lug. Alternating crown/V and crown/GP proofs on the Texas Navy battle scene roll engraved cylinder. Matching serial number on the loading lever, frame, iron trigger guard and iron backstrap. The wedge is unmarked and the cylinder has an illegible serial number. Fitted with a smooth walnut grip.
