Brugsch, ╔mile Mummies of Ramses II and Seti I Mummies of Ramses II and Seti I, Father of Ramses II. 1881. 5 albumen prints. Each circa 24 x 19 cm. Each annotated in pencil/ink on the verso. Assistant to the Egyptologist Auguste Mariette, ╔mile Brugsch became the assistant curator of the Boulaq Museum under Mariette and the Cairo Museum under MaspÞro. He was an amateur phtographer who specialized in reproducing objects of the museum and mummified remains. - Some prints slightly faded, otherwise in good condition. Lit.: Ken Jacobson.
