Description: BURMANTOFTS FAIENCE
MONUMENTAL JARDINIÈRE AND STAND, CIRCA 1910
the jardinière decorated with a frieze of peacocks on a terrace, the baluster stand with a floral and foliate frieze, makers marks BURMANTOFTS FAIENCE ENGLAND and number 2115 or 2116
55cm diameter, 104cm high

Condition Report: Jardiniere in good overall condition
Interior shows signs of use with surface dirt to the base but is otherwise clean
The rim has a hairline crack extending three inches into the body, there are a few other minor nicks to the inside rim
Tiny glaze chip to the bottom of the balustrade
Otherwise in good order

Base in similarly good condition
Traces of original label to side
Small chip to foot rim
A few scuffs and minor surface scratches to the plinth and also to the top where the jardiniere has been taken on and off
Otherwise in good order
