Description: 6th-8th century AD. A D-section gold hoop with gusseted shoulders, bifid bezel formed as two elliptical plaques and openwork text between 'CXPHVTHC', one plaque inscribed 'KEKH' and the other abraded. 11 grams, 24mm overall, 19.46 x 16.67mm internal diameter (approximate size British L 1/2, USA 6, Europe 12.34, Japan 12) (1"). Property of a central London collector; acquired on the London art market. Accompanied by a positive X-Ray Fluorescence metal analysis certificate.

Condition Report: Extremely fine condition. A wearable size.
