Possibly 6th century.
This ancient seal ring with a simple round hoop joining a circular disk bezel is engraved with the encrypted letters M, E, and A(?) which when decoded would be the abbreviation of the name of the wearer. The cross in the upper center is a sign of the Christian faith.
