George Washington Commemorative Straight Razor
c. 1898 George Washington Straight Razor, with Original Case. Very Fine.
George Washington commemorative straight razor, having a 3" blade, a total length of 9.5" when open and 6" when closed. Black handle. Handle is lacking small piece at the pivot on one side. Blade has an image of Washington and the text, "General George Washington" engraved on one side. Area below the blade is inscribed "Geneva Cutlery Co., Warranted, Geneva, N.Y., U.S.A." Accompanied by its black, two-piece slipcase which reads "A. Simone & Sons Co., Providence, R.I., Abele Special." Normal expected age wear on its case, see photos for details. Nice example.
