Description: The ChenXiang wood (agarwood) brush pot, in organic shaped cylindrical deep vessel, asymmetrical opening mouth, delicately carved in deep relief depicted an elderly sage standing within outcrop rockwork with a pavilion nestled upon a hill landscape and dense foliate trees. Raised on conjugated round pedestal with four shaped shallow legs. Three calligraphy inscriptions vertically carved under the rim. The ChenXiang wood carving is smooth and detail, with attractive golden-brown color patina and hints of fragrance.
