Description: A heavily carved mahogany hall bench with a beveled mirror top; has a filigree carved frame with a figural winged cherub crest. The lift seat bench is carved on the back panel with maidens centered with a medallion and 3 putti. Large winged griffins support the arms. The lower front panel is carved with figural griffins centered with a maiden and gargoyle faces on either side. Original finish and in excellent condition. The bench has a deep red finish and the mirror has a slightly darker finish.
