Looking for the realized and estimated price?

Description: serial #52354, .36 cal, 5 1/2" octagon barrel with a mint bore. This revolver is beautifully engraved in the Gustave Young style featuring the familiar wolf's head on hammer and eagle heads and flowers on either side of the barrel lug. The condition of the revolver is essentially new with 99% of the original charcoal blue finish remaining on the barrel and cylinder. The frame retains 99% vivid original color case-hardened finish. The grip straps retain 99% original silver plate finish. The fancy burl walnut grips retain virtually all of their original glossy varnish. All screw heads are perfect and retain all of their original fire blue finish. The revolver comes cased in a lovely mahogany case that is a perfect replica of the original Colt cases right down to the scribe marks around the hinges and the fire blued hinge and lock screws. The accessories are perfect replicas including copper eagle flask, two cavity iron mould, blued combination tool, a tin of Eley caps, case key and some moulded projectiles. The majority of these Klay Colts were 1851 Navies, other models such as this Pocket Navy are extremely rare. An investment quality example of 20th century gunmaking. (15560-8) {ANTIQUE}
