Description: CERAMIC PUG DOG FIGURAL MINIATURE LAMP, brown glaze, in sitting position with tongue hanging out, square-form base with extended round corners, underside impressed "23?", opaque white ball-form shade, period collar. Fitted with a Spar Brenner burner, colorless chimney.

Condition Report: Very good condition, minor flake to underside of tongue, expected overall light crazing. Burner with some repairs at air draft, chimney undamaged.

Provenance: Collection of Helen A. Feltner, Winchester, VA.

Dimensions: 10" H to top of shade, 5 3/8" H to top of collar, 2 3/4 x 3" SQ base.

Medium: Fourth quarter 19th/early 20th century.
