Chaim Gross (Austrian/American, 1904-1991), "Circus Riders", patinated bronze sculpture of acrobats performing upon a horse. Signed on the base, and impressed foundry mark, BEDI-RASSY / N.Y.C. Overall: 26 1/2"H x 28"L. Gross was born in Austria and immigrated to the US in 1921. His art studies began at the Kunstgewerbe Schule in Vienna and then at the Beaux-Arts Institute of Design and the Art Students League of New York in the US.
